  1. There are still cat foods with less than 5% potatoes, lentils etc. I bye ND grain free dry cat food which is minimum 96% animal protein

  2. Not all carbohydrates are chock full of glysophates. Grains are. All grains. In my experience and I am not a vet just observant, grains can cause urinary tract issues. If your cat is prone to urinary issues do remove the grains and that includes treats in addition to switching to wet food. Vets get alot of money from urinary tract emergencies so they are not going to reveal the cause.

    My cat is currently on a grain-free diet kibble/wet food and slowly incorporating some raw elements into it.
