Unfortunately my female cat needs grains to help with her bowel movements.. she has anal gland issues as well as digestive issues..
My cat now has cardiomyopathy and his grain-free quality dry food contains lentils and peas.
This is to be taken seriously!
And it is so hard to find grain free cat foods that are ALSO pea/legume free
In the wild, a cat eats the ENTIRE animal. Fur, bones, guts, and the like. Raw diets are incomplete, unless you’re feeding whole prey. They get most of their moisture in the wild from eating rodents, which contain loads of moisture.
The grain, and extras in kibbles are added to fill the gaps in the diet. You remove a single ingredient, and it becomes unbalanced.
Grain-free diets for cats have peas, lentils, and legumes–which cats cannot digest.
It’s not complicated at all.
Your holding a bag of honest kitchen food. Im kinda confused on if you are pro this brand or saying to avaoid it
